What we wore on Eid’18

Hi guys! We hope you all had a meethi Eid and got lots of Eidi. Eid is pretty much over but we’re still dealing with family dinners/gathering and some post Ramadan sleeping disorder so we decided to do as much posts as possible to keep ourself busy and productive.

Here’s what we wore on the first day of Eid;

Look #1

I ditched WHITE guys, I mean sort of.. I went for off-white this time , lol. I tried.
This off-white embroidered chiffon trouser shirt by Coir was the perfect blend of pastels that I wanted for the first day of Eid. I loved the little tussle on the trousers and the embroidery on the dupatta!

I paired the dress with my current fav mustard-sort-of-yellow heels that I got from Mango on sale. I love the little transparent detail! This shoe almost adds a pop of color to every outfit and it did the same to this Pastel tonned one.

I’m OBSESSED with jhumkas these days and almost all the jhumkas I have are from the hawkers in Islamabad mostly in F-7 near my moms office.

I got my blow-dry and mehndi on chaand raat from Faizas Salon, they were kind enough to let us in at 3 am, hehe. I always go for the simple tikka design, its just so me.

This Eid I wanted to try a simple gharara with a short shirt and this dress from Maria B was exactly what I wanted. It had the perfect amount of festive work on the shirts neck and sleeves. The net duppata had a beautiful border with embroidered flowers all over it.

For the hair I opted for loose curls as they make my new hair color pop out and for the makeup I did a  purple eye look for the first time with a pink lip.
The details of my make-up look are mentioned here

I wore my nude heels that I got from Mango and silver jhumkas to complete my look.

Oh and not to forget i got last minute mehndi done for eid from faizaz salon!

Hope you enjoyed reading this post!

I’m sure you all know by now that white is my go to color for Eid so I just had to choose this Karandi ready made gown with intricate cut work and embroidery on the gown and the end of the sleeves which makes the entire look 10 × more classy. I went with khussas because I realise Eid is not always all glamourous and sometimes you have to work and it’s more comfortable to do it in flats rather than heels.

For the second look i channelled my inner Desi girl vibes and choose this yellow unstitched suit. The crushed dupatta and the gharara screamed Eid! The golden piping on the neck work and the printed + embroidered colorful neck work all in all was perfect for Eid. I had to complete the look with some Desi jhumkas and a red lip color!

I fell in love with the puffy sleeves and the pastel purple color of the outfit so much that i selected it instantly. The long embroidered shirt was different from what I usually wear and I paired it with a shalwar I styled it with a purple lip color winged eyeliner and loose curls. I wore my favourite purple jhumkas with it and went for nude heels to complete my look.

The color of this outfit was everything and the tila work was adding the perfect eid touch to it. The short shirt was paired up with a gharara and looked absolutely breathtaking. I paired it with silver jhumkas and nude heels. For the makeup i went for a simple look with pink lips and a winged eyeliner. For the hair i kept the loose curls from before and wallah this was my second look from Kayseria.

Hope this last minute shopping was helpful for you guys, let us know what you’re wearing for Eid in the comments below 🙂

Almirah #FestiveFrenzy

I believe most of you think that Almirah only stocks eastern wear that consists of embroidered shalwar/kameez or Kurta’s but you’re all wrong, just like we were before we raided Almirah’s store located in Giga Mall.

We were shook by the embellished shirts and monochrome trousers they had in stock to pull off a complete western look. Coming from a profession that involves attending events all the time, we face a lot of trouble finding the perfect white/black/plain shirts & trousers that the others aren’t wearing or haven’t worn already (lol) , thanks to Almirah we found the perfect spot to shop these items from now onwards. Don’t believe us? See these items for yourself.

Told you!

Don’t worry they also have the traditional wear that we all seem to love & the best part is that their eastern wear is of both categories; they have plain white & black kurtas for people who don’t like to go out of their comfort zones & they also have heavily embellished and embroidered kurtas for those who love experimenting with their looks. Here are a few articles for you guys to see;

Here are the looks we tried while we were at the store ;

The most attractive thing about this dress were the sleeves, I absolutely loved them specially the fact that they have another pair of sleeves attached to them which makes it super comfortable to move your hands here and there & not to forget that fancy embellishment on the sleeves! The gharara pants are everyones favorite these days, I love baggy and flow-y clothes so that I can make boomerangs in them, hehe. Shirt: 6450/- Gharara pants: 2650/-

I choose this simple black shirt and tried it out with two different bottoms. The shirt was perfect to pair with absolutely anything, it had a longer back side short front.  The reason I wen’t with a white embellished trouser first was to create a monochrome look. I paired the same shirt with this cool dhoti type shalwar making it more of an ethnic outfit. I loved the minimalistic details on the shirt though it was very plain and simple but as they say once you go black you cannot go back.

Hope you guys liked these looks!

Aisha being a super cool hijabi blogger was the first one to get ready as she saves the hair do time. She opted for blue/purple heels that complimented her 3 piece suit. The makeup she went for was minimal with a pink lip and pink smoked out eye. You can buy this article online from here.

Look #4
Blogger : Hemayal

IMG_0442IMG_0444IMG_0434 (1)I went for straight hair and little twisted braids as this time around I wanted to try something different. To match the dress I went for a orange lip and a little pop of green color under the eye. Tossed a pair of nude heels to complete the entire look! You can buy this article online from here.

Look #5

I don’t think I can ever get over white, I choose this white peplum top adorned with embroidered Indian floral motifs and paired it with sharara pants and a plain white embroidered chiffon dupatta. The look I had in mind was a very subtle glow-y one and this is basically why I went for minimal makeup and a nude lipcolor. I’m wearing embroideried peach khussas which you can’t see but trust me they went well with the embroidery on the shirt, lol. Not to forget the earrings that are by Kayseria aswell, they’ve got some really fun accessories so do check them out! Click here to buy this outfit.

This or That?

Eid is just around the corner and with its arrival the question of ; ‘What to wear?’ arises and today we have a variety of options for you to choose from.

Cross Stitch has once again outdone themselves and the thing that attracts me the most is that we have a tremendous variety to choose from as they have an unstitched lawn collection and a Luxury pret collection aswell.

1- Eid (lawn Vol 2)
The Eid lawn collection is all about the Jungle theme inspired prints and florals that we all want during summers, the collection is a mixture of pastels and vibrant colors like yellow, peach & black. It’s an unstiched collection of digital prints, embroideried necklines , silk & chiffon dupattas so you can have a perfect Eid jora according to your own unique style and design. The entire Eid collection ranges from 5k to 6k which is pretty economical compared to what we all pay otherwise.

You can order your Eid jora Here.

2- Luxe At first Sight
Luxe At first Sight is a limited edition eid luxury pret collection which ranges between 12k to 16k and its absolutely beautiful with 3D flower embellishments,  pure embroidered organza, sequence & beaded work. This statement making collection of Reds, greys and greens is stitched to perfection and you can buy it Here.

Don’t forget to check them out on Facebook.

Style your Eid outfit with Kayseria

Lively, Traditional and colorful, Kayseria has endured the true colours of Eid this season. The collection consists of all one wants this Eid; digital prints, banarsi inspired necklines,  chunri dupattas,  gold flapper/shararas, block prints and tulip shalwars. The prints are more on the plain side compared to the Jungle theme prints we’ve seen and worn all summer. There’s a vast variety of prints, colors, stitched and unstitched fabric to choose from and below are a couple of prints we choose to wear!

Look 1

You can buy this unstitched suit with an embroidered lawn dupatta Online for only 3590/- I didn’t go for the dyed cambric trouser that comes along with it but decided to go with a skin trouser instead which is available in their pret collection and has a little embroidered cut work at the bottom of it. I opted for a middle parting with side braids to make the look a little bit more traditional!

This year Kayseria came out with exquisite hydrabadi handmade bangles to match your Eid outfit, hurry up before your favorite color runs out!

A fusion of pink and purple with embellished  swaroski crystals on top of it, this Kurta is simply beautiful and looks best paired with a white trouser. I decided to wear a truck art chappal to brighten up the look and paired a double tone Kulus bag with it. Click here to buy this cotton lawn shirt.
Rs 1790 – unstiched shirt.

Look 2-

I  paired this vibrant green Kurta which consists of a golden embroidered neckline with a skin trouser . i just HAD to add the trending silver based khussa to this look to make it whole. You can buy this best seller of the week unstitched suit from here.
Rs 3990/- Unstitched suit.

We’ve all been wanting plain shirts and I finally found one for myself, simple clothes look best with a pop of color whether its in the form of your lipcolor or your heels!

This printed cotton lawn shirt is from Kayseria’s pret collection with a henley collar & glass embellishments which looks best with a plain skin trouser and a red pair of heels! You can buy it for 3890/- here.

I hope you guys liked this post, don’t forget to check Kayseria’s Eid collection out, they’re giving away free bangles with every purchase so you better hurry up!

Things you need this Eid!

With the arrival of this Holy Month of Ramadan not only do we revive our Iman but we also start preparing for Eid and I, being the helpful little person that I am, will help make your Eid struggles a little easier.

We’re all aware of how hard it is to find the perfect shoes, suits, bags and matching accessories but I have it all covered for you this time, yes, i’ve done all the nasty research to line up the essentials you need this Eid to bring out the diva inside of you!

Everyone wants to look their best on Eid so that they can drop the perfect Eid selfie 😉 and
the first step to looking good is feeling good and dressing good so here are our fav Eid collections;

Our favorite and not unnecessarily hyped about Eid collections are from Kayseria, Cross Stitch & Baroque. The material and the designs of all three of them are amazing and all of them also have running online stores which will make your shopping less hectic and easy in these hot summer days.

Tulip Shalwar;

Shalwar’s have been trending for a while now and our favorite type of Shalwars are the Tulip shalwars, what other occasion would you wear a tulip shalwar other than Eid? 13405239_10154194781300350_210249754_o13389269_10154094676371183_229004264_oRemaluxe has by far bought the best tulip shalwar in the market and its this elegant white embroidered tulip shalwar which was even worn by the beautiful Mawra Hocane.

Outfits are always incomplete without some matching accessories and a good pair of earrings are the perfect accessories for Eid.13396634_10154094679806183_1564914197_o13383903_10154094676871183_1895153519_o13340638_10154094677766183_574388121_oOuthouse has literally outdone themselves and just like Sonam Kapoor and Mahira Khan even we’re in love with their earrings, rings and necklaces.

We need something to put the $$$ we get on Eid, don’t we?

Nina Neri

Kulus is acing the gem encrusted bag trend and Nina Neri seems to be working hard providing us with high-end genuine leather handbags and we’re loving both of them.

12963712_974448319299547_8647348950194355931_n13165848_985950904815955_9170927675315335281_n13389032_10154094684101183_1001561005_oIt isn’t only us, even Syra Shahroze seems to be loving these intricately beaded khussas by SomaJooti Shooti never fails to come up with new designs for the trending truck art khussas which we all seem to love.

Mehndi & Bangles:
