I’m sure you all know by now that I always give Hemayal a surprise birthday party a couple of days before or after her actual birthday.
This time around I told her 2 days after her birthday that we need to go for a meeting and fortunately we had an event to attend the very same night which means that she’ll be ready so that I don’t have to hear that she wasn’t ready for the pictures for the rest of my life, lol.
I took her to BLT where our friends had already organized everything with the help of Dream Creations Islamabad.
I called Sobia (Owner of Dream Creations) a night before the birthday since everything was very last minute and she literally took control of EVERYTHING. I told her to decorate the table whatever way she likes it & I think that was the best decision ever since the balloons, flowers, decoration pieces, backdrop, Lights, everything was P E R F E C T.
Thanks to Hashir the photographs do absolute justice to the decor and how they looked in real life. Thankyou for capturing everything so beautifully.
The cake was from Old Town Coffee & Cake which our friend, Laraib, bought & it was D E L I C I O U S.

A lot of you have read this post before I failed with technology and ended up deleting it. So, basically here’s my second attempt at writing this post.
I guess I began with us all being blessed with a holy tan thanks to the hot summer. We all tend to get a little moody, aggressive and DARKER in summers and I; being just a 20 year old student can’t help you with your mood swings but i sure can try helping you out with your skin.
Recently, I came across this AMAZING diy, I’m calling it amazing because you’ll actually see its results after the very first try and also because its super easy and cheap.
All you’ll need is;
Rose water (optional)
A little patience because the paste might get a little sticky.
The process is as easy as it is to find these ingredients at your home, you just have to mix them all together and apply them to your face, hands, feet wherever you want. What I like to do is that I mix the brown sugar with a few drops of coconut oil and rosewater and just cut the lemon in half and dip it in the ingredients I’ve mixed, that way I get a brush to apply the paste and I find it easier to scrub. ( Somewhat like in this picture below)
Apply the paste on your hands/face and scrub for a good 10 mins and then rinse it with lukewarm water, you can do this twice a week for better results.
The logical reason behind why this diy works is because;
Lemon consists of a rich bleaching agent which helps lighten your skin.
Brown Sugar acts as an exfoliator and gently sloughs off all the dead cells from your skin
Rose water helps in hydrating your skin and helps regenerate skin tissues.
Coconut Oil acts as a moisturizer in this paste and soothes your skin.
I hope you liked this diy and I hope that I wont end up deleting more posts in the future, Amen to that!
Firstly, I would like to apologize for not posting anything for quite sometime now, I’ve been busy with exams and university. I believe you all know how tough university life is. I’ll be posting regularly pretty soon so for today I wanted to share this quick tip with you guys which I came across a couple of weeks ago.
Do you guys face the trouble of getting nail polish on the side of your nails while you’re applying it? If yes then here’s what you need to solve this horrible little problem;
And nail polish (obviously because this is a perfectly applying nail polish trick)
These items are pretty easy to find at home so there isn’t much hustle involved and the process is even easier. Before applying any nail polish just take a little bit of vaseline and apply it on the side of your nails and when you’re done with the nail polish just take a cotton swab and clean the excessive nail polish from the sides. Tadaaaaa! It’ll come off pretty easily and you’ll have the perfect, neat and clean nail polish on your nails as the one you get from your favorite nail salon! 🙂
I think we all love beautiful eyelashes, I mean, I know that I do! So, here are a couple of easy ways to make your eyelashes look fuller and thicker.
– The best way to get naturally fuller eyelashes is to apply Caster Oil on your lashes overnight, trust me, it does wonders! You’ll see the difference in just a couple of weeks and you’ll definitely thank me for this one! Caster oil sometimes tends to irritate your eyes when it gets in them so to be on the safe side get a clean mascara container and fill it with caster oil and apply it like you apply your mascara!
– Vaseline does the same work for your lashes as caster oil, it conditions them and helps them grow. So just take a clean empty mascara wand and apply Vaseline on your eyelashes with the help of it.
Other than these two ways you can actually make your eyelashes LOOK thicker by applying your mascara these ways;
1) Always zig zaq your mascara wand while applying mascara so the mascara gets applied everywhere and also turns the lashes. Also, coating your mascara always helps!
2) Apply a little coat of baby powder on your lashes after your first coat of mascara and then apply another coat and brush your lashes out!
3) You can also brush your lashes with cotton after your first coat or mascara with a hard eyebrow brush (Yes, it does make a difference, I saw Rcl beauty doing this in one of her videos and I tried it and it actually did make a difference)
4) You can also give an illusion of having fuller eyelashes by applying liner on your inner lash line and then applying mascara, it covers up places where you don’t have enough lashes and makes your lashes look full.
I hope you guys try these tricks and they make a difference! 🙂
So, a couple of you asked for tips to reduce dark spots so here’s a tip that not only
reduces dark spots but it actually brightens your complexion! By brightening your complexion I mean it brings a natural glow on your face and gets rid of the tan that you’ve gotten!
The best thing about this tip is that its all natural and pretty cheap! All you need is lemon, honey and tomatoes! Yup, that’s all!
Now its pretty easy,1- make a paste by mixing lemon and honey by any proportion that suits your skin, (I’m mentioning this because people with sensitive skins tend to get irritated by the excessive use of lemon on their skin) and then apply it on your face for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with luke warm water. You’ll definitely feel a glow on your face after this one because firstly lemons have antioxidants that are very good for skin complexion and it also tends to act as a bleaching agent for your skin, Honey on the other hand helps in fading acne scars and ageing spots.
2- Crush a tomato or two and add half a lemon init to mix it together to form a paste, apply it on your face and let the tomato juice and lemon juice dry, wash it off with luke warm water again! Tomatoes have vitamin A, C and K which enhance your skin and leave it radiant!
Apply these pastes at two different times and not one after another as the excessive use of lemon may harm your skin. I’ll recommend you to apply one in the morning and the other later in the evening.
Apply these pastes once or twice a week and you’ll definitely see a difference!
