I believe most of you think that Almirah only stocks eastern wear that consists of embroidered shalwar/kameez or Kurta’s but you’re all wrong, just like we were before we raided Almirah’s store located in Giga Mall.
We were shook by the embellished shirts and monochrome trousers they had in stock to pull off a complete western look. Coming from a profession that involves attending events all the time, we face a lot of trouble finding the perfect white/black/plain shirts & trousers that the others aren’t wearing or haven’t worn already (lol) , thanks to Almirah we found the perfect spot to shop these items from now onwards. Don’t believe us? See these items for yourself.
Don’t worry they also have the traditional wear that we all seem to love & the best part is that their eastern wear is of both categories; they have plain white & black kurtas for people who don’t like to go out of their comfort zones & they also have heavily embellished and embroidered kurtas for those who love experimenting with their looks. Here are a few articles for you guys to see;
Here are the looks we tried while we were at the store ;
The most attractive thing about this dress were the sleeves, I absolutely loved them specially the fact that they have another pair of sleeves attached to them which makes it super comfortable to move your hands here and there & not to forget that fancy embellishment on the sleeves! The gharara pants are everyones favorite these days, I love baggy and flow-y clothes so that I can make boomerangs in them, hehe. Shirt: 6450/- Gharara pants: 2650/-
I choose this simple black shirt and tried it out with two different bottoms. The shirt was perfect to pair with absolutely anything, it had a longer back side short front. The reason I wen’t with a white embellished trouser first was to create a monochrome look. I paired the same shirt with this cool dhoti type shalwar making it more of an ethnic outfit. I loved the minimalistic details on the shirt though it was very plain and simple but as they say once you go black you cannot go back.
Hope you guys liked these looks!

Our favorite and not unnecessarily hyped about Eid collections are from Kayseria, Cross Stitch & Baroque. The material and the designs of all three of them are amazing and all of them also have running online stores which will make your shopping less hectic and easy in these hot summer days.
Shalwar’s have been trending for a while now and our favorite type of Shalwars are the Tulip shalwars, what other occasion would you wear a tulip shalwar other than Eid? Remaluxe has by far bought the best tulip shalwar in the market and its this elegant white embroidered tulip shalwar which was even worn by the beautiful Mawra Hocane.
Outfits are always incomplete without some matching accessories and a good pair of earrings are the perfect accessories for Eid.Outhouse has literally outdone themselves and just like Sonam Kapoor and Mahira Khan even we’re in love with their earrings, rings and necklaces.
We need something to put the $$$ we get on Eid, don’t we?
Kulus is acing the gem encrusted bag trend and Nina Neri seems to be working hard providing us with high-end genuine leather handbags and we’re loving both of them.
We all go crazy looking for the perfect pair of khussas as soon as summers start so i’ve also got the khussa search covered for you guys
It isn’t only us, even Syra Shahroze seems to be loving these intricately beaded khussas by Soma! Jooti Shooti never fails to come up with new designs for the trending truck art khussas which we all seem to love.

I’d be showing you two easy yet chic ways to dress up in winters with a touch of both, eastern and western wear.
Shirt – OUTFITTERS
Belt – OUTFITTERS
Cardigan – FORESTBLU
JEANS – STONEAGE
SHOES – FORESTBLU
Pattern cardigans are pretty much in this season and that is exactly why I designed this outfit around one. This red, blue and white tribal print cardigan was my pick from FORESTBLU’s winter collection and so were these extremely comfortable Uggs. I cannot even explain how warm and comfy they’re, a total must have for this chilly season.

For the second outfit I went for a eastern look :
Kurta – COCOBYZARASHAHJAHAN
Tights – HANGTEN
Khussas – From a local shop in Islamabad
I got this beige and green floral kurta from COCO BY ZARA SHAHJAHAN and I paired it with a skin colored tight from hang ten and a green plain khussa from a local shop. For a change I rope braided my hair on each side as I decided to also add some new hairstyles while doing these usual OOTD’s. Loved how the kurta was infused with both a floral and a geometrical pattern, this is what makes Zara Shahjahan distinct from other brands and is the main reason why I love it so much!

If you’re a regular reader then you’re surely aware of how much I love the color white so for today’s post I choose to design my outfit around these super cool white loafers that I simply adore!
White loafers from Shoe planet.
Jeans – Stoneage
Shirt – Outfitters golden age collection.
Shoes – Shoe Planet
Belt – Zara
So for the first look I paired these white loafers with a grey and lime combination. It’s a very casual look and can be worn to uni or any day time function. P.s ignore the water bottle!
Pink blazer – Atmosphere
Jeans – Stone age
Shoes – Shoe Planet
Necklace – Forever 21
Ear cuff – Aldo
For the second look I again went for a casual look with blue faded jeans, a white knitted sweater and a chic pink blazer. I like my jeans rolled up a little and I always seem to be playing with my clothes so here are different ways to carry this blazer.
