The cut of the outfit and the embroidery made the whole look so sleek and perfect for the winter nights. I paired the outfit with transparent heels and red tassel earrings. This look is perfect for the chilly nights.

Something Traditional –

This Black Khaddar printed and embellished ethnic shirt will give you all sorts of traditional vibes & the mirror work on it will add all sorts of bling to it.
I paired this black beauty with pink plain khussas to enhance the traditional touch but  you can also pair it up with heels for a more glam look. It’s either a no-makeup look with this one or a bold red lip look & I went with the later.

Something Green –

Green is leaving but it doesn’t have to leave your closet. This green outfit with pink embroidery was perfect for this fall/winter season. It adds a hint of color to the outfit and makes it alot more brighter. Perfect for those fun filled lunches and brunches along the winter season. I paired it up with nude heels and some traditional pink jhumaks.

What to wear on a Wedding?

Hey, guys

The wedding season is right around the corner and our dm’s are flooded with questions related to what to wear on weddings and how to do your makeup on weddings. The later part will be demonstrated on our Youtube Channel (do subscribe if you haven’t already) but today we’ll show you guys some recent clothes that we wore on weddings and ABSOLUTELY LOVED!

We wore these FAS designs a couple of months ago and till date get questions related to these outfits. So we decided to incorporate your questions in this post aswell;
– Where is the studio based? It’s in Gujranwala & Lahore.
– Do you buy outfits online or do you visit the studio? Wedding dresses are best bought after fittings and full satisfaction that is why visiting the studio is the best option.
– Where did we get our makeup & hair from? Faiza’s Salon
– How do we get an appointment? We’ve linked their instagram page HERE, you can get their details from their bio or by contacting them.

The Dress worn by Hira, is a perfect option for any Mehndi function and if you’re worried about the dress being uncomfortable while dancing or moving here and there then you have my word that the skirt was extremely comfortable because I spun quite a lot in it.

The second dress worn by Hemayal stands out because of its uniqueness, we’ve seen a lot of designs but this one was new in its own pastel tones. It’s the perfect dress for someone who prefers light colors and wants to go for a dewy makeup look.

Erum Khan has a studio in Islamabad and Lahore, their instagram is linked HERE for further queries.

How to prepare for exams

Hi guys,

Sorry for being a little MIA but we were having our exams and it gets a little hectic maintaining your blog while studying.
Now that we’re done we decided to get back on track and as we just went through the exams preparation and stress phase we decided to bring some exam tips for you guys that helped us the most.

– Delete all of your social media accounts….just kidding, we’re certainly not the type of people who can cut ourselves from everywhere and just study study study, we believe in balancing our study and tagging each other in memes time. It actually freshens your mind a little, but if you can deactivate your accounts then you’re most welcomed.

– Keep yourself HYDRATED!!! This is the most important tip guys, we all tend to get a little (A LOT; in our case) lazy and sleepy during exams and its mainly because we aren’t drinking enough water or getting enough sleep.

– This has to be Hemayal’s favorite tip; explain your answers to your siblings/parents or even to an imaginary person, whatever works in your case. You actually learn and remember stuff better when you explain it to others.

– Always make notes of your own or highlight important stuff so you can go through it and memorize it again in the very end.

– ALWAYS practice sample questions and sample papers so that you know how you’ll manage time during the paper and get a hold of the paper pattern.

– Sleep on time, even if its for a while but SLEEP as it helps you focus/concentrate better and stay fresh.

Hope these tips were helpful and if you have any other tips in mind then do share them with us below 🙂

In conversation with Nasim-e-sehar

Hi guys,

We’re here today with an entirely different kind of a blog post; an interview. As we haven’t done one before we would love to know your views on this and if you’d like to see more interviews coming your way!

For now, here are;
Six things you should know about the ambitious Nasim-e- sehar’
unnamed (3)

1- Tell us about yourself, where did you grow up? What college did you go, and what was that like?
It all starts from my perception of clothing. For everyone, clothing means fashion, following current trends. But for me, clothing was something special; I felt that clothing had this power to make a person change their perception of how the world think about them, it was more like creating a story of your own. This led me to study design in NCA (National College of Arts), and after completion of my 4 years’ degree I did my masters in fashion from the UK, and it is a tradition in my family to study from the UK. Moreover, working with the best names in the fashion industry helped me grow professionally.

2- What would you say most motivates you to do what you do?
My greatest motivation is how fashion is linked to so many other aspects of art; it is a lot more multi-dimensional than people think. I love to multitask; it is like a second nature to me, so I love to be able to work with different art disciplines while being in fashion such as, drawing, using computers to design, painting and much more.

3 – What are you most excited and passionate about?
I would say I am a perfectionist. So I have this certain image of what I want to achieve with what I am creating, and as I look up more about it, the more it changes in my mind. I do not stop until I have achieved what I have pictured in my mind, which is difficult for people to get used to, but I just cannot create something other than what I have envisioned.

4 – What are the goals you most want to accomplish in your work?
I want my work to be perfect regarding every aspect and I want my creations to be flawless.

5 – Did you have any life changing experiences that put you on the path that led you to be doing what you’re doing today? Tell us about them.
I would not say that I had a very definitive experience that changed my perspective and made me more motivated about what I am doing right now, but it was more about the existing passion in me that has always been very strong, ever since I was a child. I was always very find of different colors and how they work together; how textures make things look more defined and better. So all of this thinking process was already instilled in me since the beginning. Everyone faces some problems to get to their end goal; I just prefer to consider those hurdles a pathway that leads me to my end goal.

6 – What are some of your hobbies?
My hobbies are reading, singing drawing; I love to do anything that is innovative and prolific. These are just the kind of activities I enjoy most.

Diy; perfect nail polish

Firstly, I would like to apologize for not posting anything for quite sometime now, I’ve been busy with exams and university. I believe you all know how tough university life is. I’ll be posting regularly pretty soon so for today I wanted to share this quick tip with you guys which I came across a couple of weeks ago.
Do you guys face the trouble of getting nail polish on the side of your nails while you’re applying it? If yes then here’s what you need to solve this horrible little problem;
You’ll need;
Cotton bud
And nail polish (obviously because this is a perfectly applying nail polish trick)

These items are pretty easy to find at home so there isn’t much hustle involved and the process is even easier. Before applying any nail polish just take a little bit of vaseline and apply it on the side of your nails and when you’re done with the nail polish just take a cotton swab and clean the excessive nail polish from the sides. Tadaaaaa! It’ll come off pretty easily and you’ll have the perfect, neat and clean nail polish on your nails as the one you get from your favorite nail salon! 🙂
